ホテル ヴィラ ディ ソレント

ホテルのスタッフは、滞在中ずっと、こちらが挨拶をしてもほとんど無反応でした。精算の際にも”機械の調子が悪いからカードは使えない。現金がなければ、銀行に行って来い。”と言われました。”sorry”の一言が有れば気持ちも違ったのですが、その後の”ありがとうございました”とか、”さようなら”の言葉も無く、こちらも呆れてホテルから出てきました。朝食も良く有りませんでした。

フロントの方の感じが良く、いろいろな相談に乗ってくれました。部屋ですが割りと小さめですがエアコンも付いているし清潔感もあるので問題ないです。駅からもショッピングストリートとも近く移動が便利です。

フロント・年配の女性の方に近くのあまりツーリスト向けでないお店を紹介してくれとお願いしたら、しっかり自分のホテルのハンコを押して見るからにツーリスト向け・アメリカンタイプのお店を紹介されました。また翌日チェックアウトの時現金でおつりがない!と言われた事が笑える程度ですが若干マイナス点でした。

港、バス停、駅に近いので、カプリ島、アマルフィ、ナポリ、ポンペイ、エルコラーノへ行くのに便利でした。ビーチへも歩いて行けるので海水浴も気軽に楽しめました。市民公園から見た夕日がきれいでした。朝食で自分で作るポーチドエッグが楽しみでした。クロワッサンやタルトもおいしかったです。レストランもたくさんあるので好みの店を見つけるといいですね。また、近くにスーパーマーケットがあるので何かと便利です。

ソレントの中心に位置し　ショッピングや散歩には便利である。

皆さん書かれてますが立地がとにかく最高にいい。でも、部屋も綺麗だし広さも十分。バスたぶも広くてgood。小さなバルコニーから海まで見えて言うことなし！です。朝食も十分でした♪満足満足。またソレント行く時はここに泊りたい。スタッフの対応も別に普通。

私の部屋も便座のねじが取れていて壊れてましたが、まぁ別に困るほどではないです。でも修理してほしいかな。

夜遅いチェックインや早朝のチェックアウト、インスタントのお茶のためのお湯を欲しいというわがままなリクエストににこやかに優しく対応してくれたフロントのおじさんに感謝しています。

タッソー広場からすぐの所にあり、とても便利でした。フロントは観光情報などはあまり知らないようで教えてもらえませんでしたが、対応は良かったです。

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was very conveniently located, the reception staff were very helpful and suggested some great tours which we really enjoyed. The room was comfortable and pleasant.

Fully air-conditioned room on a hot hot summer day was a big plus. The location of the hotel was really good too. Staff were pretty helpful except one unfriendly man. Though he did everything we asked for, he seemed just a little annoyed.

The location was excellent. Located in the center of Sorrento and 200ft from the parking garage.

We were visiting friends in Sorrento who recommended this hotel for being central in the town. Everyone was very friendly and the rooms were kept clean. Breakfast was good - self service and you boiled your own eggs. The hotel was on the main road going into town so was exceptionally busy and noisy for the friends who were at the front of the hotel. I was at the back with a super view of the hills behind and that was much quieter. I would stay there again for a city break weekend but would prefer a pool if staying longer.

They would not let us log on their computers to book our seats back on our BA flight even though there was a computer on reception and a travel agents on the premises.

The hotel was in a magnificent location being very close to the main square.

Perfect central location steps to Tasso Square on level ground which is great for people with any walking difficulties. We had a small balcony at the front of the hotel which was nice. Although there was no decaffeinated coffee at breakfast, the waiter gave us specially brewed decaf espresso which was much appreciated. When no tea/coffee is provided in rooms we always take our travel kettle and the hotel were happy to provide us with a jug of milk when requested. This is a no frills hotel fairly but perfectly adequate for our needs.

Although stated on their website, they do not have satellite or cable TV, so we missed the Ryder Cup coverage!

I enjoy stauing there - it was in the center of Sorrento and was very convinient.

Price was a bit high. There were no coffe/tea facilities in my room

My wife and I found all of the staff at Villa Di Sorrento courteous, friendly and very helpful. They ensured that our stay over the course of the week was very pleasant. The room was clean and the shower room was immaculate, cannot really be faulted. Breakfasts were ample and there was a wide range of food on offer from toast and eggs to yoghurt, not forgetting tea and coffee. The central location of the hotel was exactly what we wanted, just seconds from the main square and a range of some very good restaurants. In the evenings it was delightful to stroll in the square and in the narrow lanes that run from it.We would have no hesitation in staying in this hotel again and recommending it to any future visitors.

Nothing really - we both liked its old-fashioned appeal.
